Serves: Makes 24 gummies

Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Setting Time: 2 hours

Ingredients

Method

  1. Prepare the gelatin according to package instructions until properly bloomed.
  2. In a bowl, combine the Collagen Beauty Watermelon Strawberry with the fresh watermelon juice and mix well.
  3. Gently warm the watermelon and collagen mixture over low heat, being careful not to boil.
  4. Slowly incorporate the bloomed gelatin into the warm liquid, stirring continuously until fully dissolved.
  5. Pour the mixture into a prepared tray or silicone mould.
  6. Carefully arrange the sliced strawberries on top of the mixture.
  7. Refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours or until the gummies have completely set.
  8. To remove from the mould, you may need to briefly run warm water over the back of the tray to release the edges.
  9. Turn out onto a cutting board and slice into 24 equal pieces.

Tips & Variations

  • For firmer gummies, increase the gelatin slightly
  • Try different fruit juices like pomegranate, berry blend, or mango
  • Add a touch of honey or maple syrup if you prefer a sweeter gummy
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week
  • For a fun twist, use shaped silicone moulds instead of cutting into squares
