Luk Beautifood is an Australian clean makeup brand created by Cindy Luken, a food scientist and chef who formulates her makeup with food grade ingredients and natural pigments. Cindy and I have been friends from before Luk even existed, and I worked with her back in my advertising days on her original business, Luken & May biscuits. She started with the Lip Nourish lipsticks, which I sold back then, and the range has grown to cover much more natural makeup. I stock her entire range, and everything is free from D&C dyes. My favourite is the Lip Nourish in Tea Rose, and I love that you can buy a Tasting Plate with a swatch of seven shades to try at home before committing to a full size.
