I've Ranked 5 of My Favourite Toxin-Free Face Oils by Their Cost Per ml

I love all of these oils, they are all wonderful for dry and mature skin. I've also added some specifically for sensitive and reactive skin in this list, here's how the cost breaks down per mls ranked from highest to lowest.

  1. 1

100% Pure Super Fruit Facial Oil

    Nectarine rating 3/3 · $2.37 per ml

Pricey but worth it for the ingredients. I've never seen so many superfruit oils in 1 bottle before (it's very potent, you only need a few drops).

  2. 2

Salt + Glow Ora Ultimate Facial Oil

    Nectarine rating 3/3 · $1.87 per ml

A hand crafted face oil, nourishing with 15 superfoods, look at that dark amber colour (this reminds me of the original Pai Rosehip oil)

  3. 3

Antipodes Divine Rosehip & Avocado Oil Face Oil

    Nectarine rating 3/3 · $1.53 per ml (30ml bottle)

A face oil that's great for very dehydrated skin (that's me), with avocado, rosehip and macadamia with a subtle scent from jasmine, sweet orange and ylang ylang

  4. 4

    Weleda Sensitive Recovery Face Oil

    Nectarine rating 3/3 · 66c per ml

Completely fragrance free this is a sweet almond oil blend, backed by clinical studies and great for sensitive, eczema-prone skin.

  5. 5

The Jojoba Company Australian Jojoba Oil

    Nectarine rating 3/3 · 27c per ml

The original jojoba oil, it's clinically proven to provide 8 hours of hydration and is dermatologically approved for all skin types (price is based on the 200ml bottle size)

How do you use a face oil?

To use these face oils, add a few drops after your serum (or skip the serum and add right after your cleanser or toner) before your moisturiser. I love to press the oil onto my skin while it's slightly damp.

They layer beautifully over a hyaluronic acid serum for dry skin types or over a Vitamin C serum if you have a little pigmentation or sun damage.
