6 Natural Concealers to Hide, Brighten, and Correct

I don't usually wear foundation, just a good tinted moisturiser and the right concealers. These are my six, sorted by dark circles, pigmentation and blemishes, including the one I'm wearing in the photo.

6 Natural Concealers to Hide, Brighten, and Correct

I don’t usually wear foundation at all.

Even though I sell a full range of natural foundations, I personally prefer a fantastic tinted moisturiser and a great concealer. I'll often use multiple concealers for different areas of my face and then just add a dusting of powder to set everything.

Because I am such a concealer connoisseur, I am very fussy. They need to cover without caking, stay put without creasing, be buildable without looking heavy, last all day, cover dark circles without being obvious, blur imperfections and have ingredients that are good for the skin. I know it's a lot, but I have found them. Here are 6 that I love and what I use them for.

Concealers for Dark Circles

100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Long Last Concealer

My first pick for under-eye coverage and dark circles. It's a thick, creamy full coverage that doesn't crease, water and sweat resistant, and full of antioxidants and hydrating ingredients.

Ere Perez Lychee Crème Corrector

A high-pigment corrector with lychee extract to brighten and Vitamin E to keep the under-eye hydrated and crease-free. It's very blendable and has a natural, dewy finish.

Concealers for Pigmentation and Redness

Avocado Zinc SPF50 Natural Concealer

Sunscreen and concealer in one stick, with built-in broad-spectrum SPF50. It's easy to keep in your handbag for touch-ups throughout the day, and it's made with avocado oil so very nourishing. I find the coverage is a bit too sheer for my blemishes and dark circles but it's great for applying where the sun hits and it does a good job blending away my pigmentation and any redness. For reference this is what I am using in the main image here (in shade Light).

Ere Perez Arnica All-Cover Pot

This is the cream concealer that doubles as a foundation, made for anyone like me who prefers a no-makeup face and just wants to soften redness and uneven skin tone. It builds from medium to full coverage, blends well, and the calming arnica is great for redness.

Concealers for Blemishes

Dr Hauschka Coverstick

A twist-up stick made for the moment a blemish appears. Rose petal, calendula and anthyllis extracts help calm redness while mineral pigments cover, and it also helps reduce greasy shine. Dab it on at the first sign of a breakout and blend the edges, under or over your makeup. It comes in two shades, Natural for fair to light skin and Sand for medium.

100% Pure Fruit Pigmented 2nd Skin Concealer

The name gives it away: a liquid formula with aloe and fruit extracts that finishes like a second skin. It's buildable, lasts all day, and the sponge-tip tube makes quick work of a blemish.

Concealer sorted. My toxin-free makeup bag guide covers exactly what to start with.
