If you like, you can infuse the water with a few drops of any Dr. Hauschka bath essence to suit your mood and let the fragrance uplift you as you apply the compress to your face. Applying a warm compress softens pores allowing for a deeper cleansing and is also extremely beneficial prior to applying a mask. Applying a cool compress, or splashing skin with cold water after cleansing helps to contract a minute muscle to complete the cleansing process and helps to keep your skin feeling lovely and soft without harsh exfoliation.
