The Desert Shadow Indigo Shadow is a certified organic natural hair dye made with pure indigo, conditioning hair as it colours and free from ammonia, bleach and peroxide.

The Indigo shade builds to a dark, blue-black tone on medium to dark brown hair, and is often used as a toner over red or copper colour. Colour builds gradually and grows richer with repeat use, so a strand test is recommended before the first full application. Made in Australia, NASAA and USDA certified organic, and vegan.

Indigofera tinctoria (Indigo), Aloe barbadensis (Aloe Vera)

Mix with 250ml warm water (30 to 40°C) only, with no other liquids. Use half a pack for short hair or root touch-ups and up to 1.5 packs for long hair. Leave on for around 1 hour on non-grey, medium to dark brown hair. For grey or light hair, apply a Red or Copper Shadow base first, then leave Indigo Shadow on for around 3 hours. A strand test is recommended, and this shade is not suited to hair that will later be bleached or lightened.
