The Hello Low Cervix Cup is a modern menstrual cup designed by a Registered Nurse specifically for those with a low cervix. It is made from hypoallergenic, medical-grade TPE (thermoplastic elastomer - the same material used to make catheters and intravenous lines for medical purposes). Unlike the regular Hello Cup, the Hello Low Cervix Cup does not have a toggle at the base. This is because people with a low cervix have a shorter vaginal canal, so they may find the toggle exposed, or uncomfortable. Instead, Hello Low Cervix Cups have a comfortable, rounded base with grip rings which is thickened to allow for easy removal. Once inside the body TPE warms and moulds to the user's body, creating a custom fit. This works slightly differently to traditional silicone cups which form a seal by having even pressure along the rim. TPE will still have some pressure on the rim but also adapts to fit the user's body. It holds approximately 3x the capacity of single-use tampons and pads.
