Truffle is definitely not a nice brown as I was expecting. Bright pink is not really my vibe. The texture is nice though and lasts a while.
This product is so much more than decorative cosmetics - it's an essential part of my beauty routine. It deeply moisturizes and nourishes my lips, and I'm so glad I discovered it years ago. I've been a loyal fan of the brand ever since. My favorite shades are Rum Nougat, Ganache, and Butter Chew, though I've tried them all. The texture and feel are absolutely wonderful. I truly hope 100% Pure continues making this amazing product
The formula is pleasant and smells good. I always look at images from the reviews in trying to make a decision about whether or not a color is right for me before buying. Hope these help someone! From top to bottom, these shades are:
#1 Butterchew
#2 Ganache
#3 Truffle
I can't get enough of it. The texture is incredible and the colors are gorgeous!
I get so many compliments when I wear the Truffle lip glaze color. It has a lovely mauvey feel to it that would be perfect on so many skin tones. I usually get compliments when I wear it because it really does have a beautiful pop of color to the face when I wear it. My favorite part: it acts as both a lipstick, a lipgloss, AND a lipliner. I'm always using lipliners to line my lips, but with this applicator, I don't need to do that.
Con, the packaging could use an upgrade. My cap won't screw on tightly so I have to place the product in a ziplock bag.
Comes nicely packaged. The color really pops. Lovely for special occasions. Very smooth! I did think I'd be getting a more mauve color but I'm not dissatisfied.
I have the Melon Drop color, the formula is thicker than I expected so a little goes a long way. Good staying power.
I've tried nearly all of the 100% Pure lip products, and the Lip Caramels are one of my favs. (Lip Glazes too)
So far, I've tried Cherry Cordial, Ganache, Red Velvet, Butterchew, and Rum Nougat. The last two are similar in shade, though Butterchew has a peach-cinnamon cast and Rum Nougat is more of a warm pink. All 5 of these colour look gorgeous on me (my skin is warm-neutral, somewhat olive) This formula also makes your lips look super plump. Love!
Like this dark color! One or two coats in more than enough. I love the wand. You can use the tip like lipliner to line the lips before filling in. Smells like cocoa! Awesome thank you >3 pics attached with flash and without
I got the shade Rum Nougat.
The color is quite different than I was expecting. It is much more peachy and coral-like than it shows in the picture on the site.
I really don't like the feel of this. It feels VERY noticeable and stays that way. Also, it can get everywhere if you aren't careful. It's just uncomfortable for me.
It smells REALLY good though.
The shade Sorbetto is a bright pink, super fun to wear in the summer! I forget how sticky lip glosses are, haven't worn one in decades but on the plus size it makes your lips super full. Life's too short, put on that cute dress and play with color!
I love the color I got the aubergine (plum)one it's the same shade as the Matt one I usually get but this one is very moisturizing and has a shine to it. Also a little goes a long way. The applicator is so easy to use I like the way it's designed. This is definitely my new favorite.
I love the pigment and the hydration from these, also the scent is so good I want to eat it LOL
I bought melon drop while it was on sale. On YouTube videos it did look like the most neon and bright of all of these colors. I did so much research on 100PercentPure lip products and cane down to Melon Drop and Ganache being my 2 colors since everything I read said that those 2 were the best for cool skin with pink undertones (alpine rose and white peach are my concealer matches for reference. White peach is like a neutral light color.) I honestly can only see coral if I take a photo while wearing the lipstick but when I look in the mirror with it on, it looks like a bright, hot pink! I won't deny that I am not used to bold lipsticks. I typically wear nudes, light pinks, or berries. I basically wear what somebody says looks good because I don't know how to tell which ones are my colors. When I wore this around my family, their eyes popped out of their head and I quote my little brother saying, You look like a clown with that lipstick on... Not a reaction anybody wants to hear and only rarely have they ever not liked my makeup! If you want an intense, strictly for photos lipstick then I would say this might work for you but if you are wanting it as a going out lipstick or an everyday one then I would look in a different direction. I did try Foxglove and that has been my favorite so far with the color and formula (which blows because $30 a tube!?) and I also like my Lip Glaze in fig. This was my 3rd lippie and I hated it. I do love the texture though because if you want it glossy then you just apply it on and if you want it matte you dab your lips and it's very pigmented which is great! I really wish I went with Ganache instead but it wasn't on sale. Maybe if it does I'll try it!!
Loved the color on both of the lip caramels I bought, and my partner does too. The only draw back was that I wasn't allowed to use the 50% discount they were running on lip caramels at the same time as cashing in my perk points. I wish they would change their system so I could've taken advantage of both on my purchase, since I bought a couple things. Product was great though!
Pretty color. Wish the formula was a little more moisturizing, all lip colors (of any brand) seem to dry my lips out. The lip gloss is less drying than these, though. Please come out with a moisturizing lip primer. Looking forward to lip pencils as well, because the color definitely bled (this is also only something that started happening to me in last year or two- coincidentally as I began to see my first gray hairs. Mama said they'll be days like this...
Photo with hat and sunglasses is a small amount of truffle *AND* Butterchew. I do not like how butterchew looks alone on my skin tone, but mixing these two looks cute together.
It's very pigmented and feels nice on my lips.
I love the color and texture. But maybe hour later after applying The color bleeds out beyond the edges of the lips. So everytime I have to clean with tissue.
