The Desert Shadow Red Shadow is a certified organic natural hair dye made with henna and cassia, conditioning hair as it colours and free from ammonia, bleach and peroxide.

The Red shade builds to a fiery copper red, giving grey, light blonde and dark blonde hair a vivid pop of colour. Colour builds gradually and grows richer with repeat use, so a strand test is recommended before the first full application. Made in Australia, NASAA and USDA certified organic, and vegan.

Lawsonia inermis (Henna), Cassia obovata, Aloe barbadensis (Aloe Vera)

Mix with 250ml warm water or herbal tea (30 to 40°C), plus 20 to 40ml extra warm water if needed. Use half a pack for short hair or root touch-ups, one pack for medium length hair, and up to three packs for very long or thick hair. Leave on for around 1 hour on non-grey hair, or 1.5 to 3 hours for full grey coverage. Will not lighten hair, and results vary on dark hair, so a strand test is recommended.
