Weleda

Weleda was founded in 1921 in Switzerland by philosopher Rudolf Steiner, physician Dr Ita Wegman and chemist Oskar Schmiedel, starting out as a small pharmaceutical laboratory. Steiner went on to develop biodynamic farming, which Weleda has practised ever since, growing 260 plant species in one of the largest biodynamic medicinal gardens in Europe. The iconic Skin Food was created in 1926 and turns 100 this year. In 2007 Weleda co-founded the NATRUE certification alongside Dr. Hauschka and Lavera. I've stocked Weleda since 2014, when they knocked on my door at my first warehouse in Frenchs Forest. My warehouse is now in Warriewood, right next door to them. I stock the full range, across skincare, body, hair and baby.
