What does glycolic acid do?

Glycolic acid is one of the most effective alpha hydroxy acids in skincare, a family of gentle resurfacing acids derived from fruit sugars. These natural AHAs work by loosening the bonds that hold dead surface skin cells together, revealing smoother, brighter skin underneath without harsh physical scrubbing. The most common alpha hydroxy acids used in skincare are lactic acid and glycolic acid. Lactic acid increases the skin's natural moisturising factor for hydration and is known for its gentle exfoliating properties. We have glycolic acid in everything from face masks to glycolic acid scrubs for a deeper exfoliating treatment.

From daily cleansers to intensive peels

We have glycolic acid and AHAs across every step of your skincare routine. We stock face cleansers with glycolic acid for daily gentle exfoliation, glycolic acid toners to prep and refine pores, concentrated glycolic acid serums for targeted resurfacing, and glycolic acid peels and enzyme masks for intensive treatment. These formulas feature fruit-derived AHAs from green apple, papaya, pineapple, bilberry and lime caviar, alongside lactic acid from beets and lemon.
