Did you know that MooGoo started as a happy accident? In 2005, founder Craig Jones noticed his mother was using a thick paste, originally made to keep cow's udders soft and supple for milking, to help with her psoriasis. He went on to reformulate it into something lighter and more wearable, and that's how MooGoo was born.

MooGoo is an Australian brand with a range of products designed to help with common skin conditions and scalp concerns, from mild eczema and psoriasis to very sensitive and dry skin types. They have products for the whole family including babies and a dedicated skincare and anti-aging range of serums and creams. All MooGoo products are made locally in Australia and are dermatologically tested.

MooGoo Creamy Hydrating Face Cleanser

Great for: dry and sensitive skin

The MooGoo Creamy Hydrating Face Cleanser is a gentle, non-foaming cleanser that uses a blend of coconut and glucose-based cleansers to lift away dirt, makeup and daily impurities without stripping the skin's natural oils. It contains Hyaluronic Acid which helps attract and retain moisture during cleansing, and milk protein, which is rich in amino acids and closely resembles the skin's natural moisturising factors, supports skin elasticity and moisture balance. To use, massage a small amount onto damp skin, rinse and follow with a hydrating serum while the skin is still slightly damp.

MooGoo Gentle Foaming Face Cleanser

Great for: oily, combination, blemish-prone & teenage skin

The MooGoo Gentle Foaming Face Cleanser is a natural foaming face wash that pumps out as a rich, fluffy foam to clear congestion, combat breakouts and wash away excess oils without drying the skin out. It uses naturally derived cleansing ingredients like Papaya Fruit Extract to gently exfoliate the pores and help remove rough, flaky skin for a brighter, clearer complexion. It also contains Calendula Extract to help calm and soothe breakouts and redness. It's suitable for all ages and skin types, and a great option for teenagers. To use, pump onto clean damp hands and massage into the skin focussing on problem areas, rinse and follow with their Calming Blemish Cream.

MooGoo Oil Cleansing Method

Great for: all skin types, mature skin, double cleansing, heavy makeup and SPF removal

Oil cleansing works on the principle that oil dissolves oil, and the MooGoo Oil Cleansing Method is a beautifully balanced cleanser that does exactly that. It blends castor seed oil, rice bran oil, jojoba and avocado oil to lift excess oil, makeup, sunscreen and impurities from the skin while leaving it soft and nourished, without clogging pores or stripping the skin's natural oils. Lovely for dry and mature skin. It's perfect as the first step in a double cleanse, followed by the Creamy Hydrating or Gentle Foaming Cleanser. Start with dry hands and a dry face, massage into skin for 30 to 60 seconds, add a little warm water to emulsify, then rinse. A warm damp cloth can help if you want a really thorough cleanse. MooGoo Ultra Gentle Cleanser with Ceramides

Great for: the whole family, face and body, sensitive and eczema-prone skin

This is the perfect all-rounder. The MooGoo Ultra Gentle Cleanser with Ceramides can be used on the face and body and is suitable for the whole family, including those with very sensitive, reactive or eczema-prone skin. It has an irritation score 75% lower than SLS and 38% lower than other leading gentle cleansers, and ceramides 3 and 3B work to strengthen the skin's barrier, lock in moisture and reduce dryness and discomfort, so skin feels settled and calm after cleansing cleansing.

The MooGoo Bakuchiol Anti-Ageing Active Serum is a gentle, plant-based alternative to retinol that supports collagen production, helps smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and evens skin tone, without the irritation that retinol can cause. It's blended with hydrating jojoba oil, nourishing shea butter and natural vitamin E, and works beautifully on all skin types including sensitive and reactive skin. A clinical study published in the British Journal of Dermatology found bakuchiol works just as well as retinol in improving visible signs of photoageing, with better tolerability.

The MooGoo Tinted SPF 40 Face Cream is one of my favourite natural tinted sunscreens. It uses Zinc Oxide as a physical barrier to reflect UVA and UVB rays, with a natural Iron Oxide tint that gives a lovely, even complexion without the white cast you can get with zinc. Free from chemical UV filters, Titanium Dioxide and synthetic preservatives, it's a great everyday option for sensitive skin.
