From the Founder of Nourished Life: I'm back to disrupt the health & beauty industry (again)
Hi, I'm Irene Falcone and I'm back with a new new natural beauty & wellness store. My journey started in 2012, with a simple goal to bring you the cleanest beauty and healthy living products in the world so you can replace your mainstream products with natural alternatives that work.
My journey into the world of clean beauty began when I experienced the negative effects of harsh chemicals in skincare products firsthand. Determined to find healthier alternatives, I embarked on a quest to discover the power of truly natural ingredients. This led me to create Nourished Life, Australia's first online store dedicated to natural and organic products.
Through that experience, I discovered a passion for helping people make healthier choices for their bodies and the planet. But I also realized that the term "natural" could be misleading, with many products still containing questionable ingredients.
That's why I created Clean Nectarine – to offer a truly transparent and uncompromising approach to clean beauty. We go beyond typical "natural" claims by banning a wide range of potentially harmful ingredients. We meticulously curate every product, ensuring it meets our strict "NO" list and is free from toxins.
I immediately took a big garbage bag and tossed away everything in my home containing questionable ingredients. Thousands of $$ worth of products disappeared into the bin.
In a matter of months I started to feel better. I slowly got my energy back, my skin was glowing, my teeth were whiter and the dark, puffy circles under my eyes faded!
But trust me, going cold turkey on makeup is no fun. Nor is enduring the pitying stares of your glammed-up co-workers when you turn up to the office every morning.
I had to find some safe, toxin-free alternatives – ASAP!
From that day on it became my mission to seek out the most gorgeous, natural & certified organic beauty products on the market.
I began blogging about my toxin-free journey and the products I found, and this was where I made my biggest discovery: that there was a HUGE community of women like me who were all searching for the same thing – a way to be their most beautiful selves, MINUS the toxic chemicals.
And so, I began building my first toxin-free store Nourished Life, which I sold in 2017 with dreams of growing it into a 'toxin-free Amazon'.
Sadly through a sequence of unfortunate events truly outside of my legal control, new owners destroyed all of my hard work and from my strict ingredients policy to my customer service. After several unsuccessful attempts to buy Nourished Life back or rejoin, my non-compete period is over and I am free to START AGAIN!
My goal is to be the absolute strictest natural beauty & health store on the web. With Clean Nectarine, I’m returning to my roots and reigniting the passion that started this journey. This time, it’s not just about offering toxin-free products; it’s about ensuring that every item meets the highest standards of purity, transparency, and efficacy. I’ve poured all my experience, knowledge, and dedication into curating a selection of products that you can trust completely – no compromises, no shortcuts.

Why do you only stock certain products from some brands, and not their full range?
We carefully review every product from every brand we stock to ensure it meets our strict ingredient standards. Sometimes, this means only offering a selection of products from a particular brand, as some may contain ingredients on our "NO" list.
What makes Clean Nectarine different from other natural beauty stores?
We go beyond typical "natural" claims by banning a wide range of questionable ingredients often found in other stores, including phenoxyethanol, talc, silicones, and many more.
How is Clean Nectarine different from Nourished Life?
After I sold Nourished Life the new owners started adding products to the store that didn't agree with my ingredients policy so one the main differences would be the ingredients policy and product range. The other major difference is that I am no longer there!
