Tinted Moisturiser, BB Cream or CC Cream. What's the Difference?

Not all tinted bases are created equal, so there's something for complexion. A tinted moisturiser is the lightest of the three, all about hydration and that barely-there sheer finish, often with SPF built in. BB creams (Beauty Balms) go a step further, combining coverage, hydration and skincare benefits like anti-ageing all in one. CC creams (Colour Correcting) are the ones to reach for when redness or uneven skin tone is the main concern. All three are great alternatives to foundation and layer beautifully under a setting powder when you want that minimal makeup look. 

How to Choose the Right One for Your Skin Type

Dry skin loves a tinted moisturiser or BB cream for dry skin with hyaluronic acid, applied over your usual serum or moisturiser. Oily skin does well with a mattifying BB cream for oily skin that works double time as a moisturiser too, and for sensitive skin, a fragrance-free BB cream is the perfect everyday option. Blend a small amount outward from the centre of your face using fingertips, a brush or sponge for a natural finish.
